Antwerpen proeft,
Oh how I love events like these were we can indulge in good food and drinks.
The weather was finally getting better so being outside with all these stalls with food to discover was not such a bad place to be, let me tell ya.
I have to say that this event was not really in my price range, I expected it to be a little more affordable but it was still worth it.

As much as I love enjoying food I love cooking it even more.
This week I have been cooking a lot of vegetarian food, yummy and healthy.
I made a vegetarian lasagna with lots and lots of vegetables and I sure do have to say I am hooked.
Just put on some music and start swinging and chopping.
What I really really love doing is baking and my sister is always my guinea pig, ow how she loves her sweets.
I will be posting more pictures and recipes of my pies and sweet treats.

Me & my boyfriend ‘ve recently celebrated our second anniversairy,
but it was actually all a surprise to me because we’ve agreed on postponing the celebrationdate untill my schoolvacation begins.
Little did I know that my boyfriend allready booked a table at a great restaurant!
I was all prepared to say goodbye to my boyfriend since he had to work and I had to pack my bags for a trip the next day.
So when he left for work, I went to my room and found a little box with macarons from La durée.
I must say they are the best macarons I ever ate.
Then all of the sudden my boyfriend enters the room with a smile on his face and tells me he took a day off to surpise me 😀
I was really happy with the great surprise and had a really nice evening with great food.
The restaurant is located in the center of Antwerp and is also known for its great cocktails and lounge area that really makes you feel like home.

As you all know, we love our food! And sometimes we just need to go out in town and have some.We went to Asia taste , an Asian restaurant that is run by Nepalese people that I know.
They are very nice people and the food is great there and not expensive at all!
The restaurant is in the center of town and nearby lots of cosy bars you can go to after you have had dinner.
This time we went to a cocktail bar before dinner and the main bartender is also from Nepal(!) how funny is that!
Haha.
Be sure to stop by the restaurant sometime!

I Had a nice new years eve with my friends.
We had a lot of food and cava (ofcourse!) and watched the fireworks in our neighborhood. (my ears are still buzzing)

I also made sushi yesterday with sarah at my place and it was nice!
So i decided to try it again today for my sister and her boyfriend and it was even better!

caffénation is a cosy coffeeplace in the heart of Antwerp were they serve a big variety of coffees, chocolate milk & lemonade. It’s kind of like a Starbucks, but less expensive and has a cosier vibe to it that is not as commercial as Starbucks. We’ll give a better explanation about caffénation on anohter post with lots of pictures of the interior inside. –Sarah.
